Privacy Policy
This website
This website is a set of static pages. It does not ask you to create an account, does not include any forms, and does not ask you to submit personal information.
- Google Analytics is optional, and does not load unless you allow it.
- A small cookie remembers whether you allowed it, so you are not asked every visit.
- The server keeps its own record of requests, including your IP address, for thirty days.
- No advertising or marketing trackers are used.
- Fonts and other assets are served from this site rather than a third party.
Google Analytics
This site can use Google Analytics to understand how it is used. It is switched off until you choose to allow it: before that, nothing is loaded from Google, no analytics cookies are created, and nothing is sent.
If you do allow it, Google Analytics runs in your browser and may store cookies such as one named _ga. What it sends to Google on a visit can include:
- The pages you view on this site, and the page you arrived from.
- An approximate geographic area, worked out from your network address.
- Your device type, browser and screen size.
- A randomly generated identifier, so repeat visits from the same browser can be counted as one visitor rather than several.
Google receives that information and processes it for us. It is not used to identify you by name, and we do not combine it with anything else. Google describes its own handling in its privacy policy at policies.google.com/privacy.
Changing your mind
Choosing Reject stops analytics loading at all. You can change your answer at any time using the Cookie preferences link in the footer of every page.
If you turn analytics off after having allowed it, this site removes the analytics cookies it can reach in your browser and loads nothing further. It cannot delete measurements Google has already received.
Server records
Like any website, the server that delivers these pages keeps standard technical records of requests, such as the address a request came from. These records are created by the web server itself, not by anything running in your browser.
We read those records to count how many visits and downloads the site received on a given day, and which pages and files they were for. The result is a total: an address is used only to tell one visitor from another while counting, and is not stored alongside those totals, published, or combined with anything else.
The records themselves are kept for fourteen days and are then deleted.
Our own record of visits
Separately from Google Analytics, and whatever you choose about it, this site keeps its own short-lived record of the requests it serves. It is how the site owner sees how many people are reading the site and which pages they reach, without sending anything to a third party.
For each request, the server records:
- Your IP address. It is kept in full, not shortened, and is visible only to the site owner in a password-protected area.
- The page you asked for, and the page you arrived from.
- The browser, operating system and device type your browser reports.
- The language your browser asks for.
- The time of the request, and how long you have been on the site.
- Which answer you gave to the analytics question, so the two are not confused with each other.
This is not anonymous, and we would rather say so than imply otherwise: an IP address can identify a connection. It is not combined with anything else, never appears on a public page, and is not sent to Google or anyone else.
Nothing is measured from inside your browser to produce it — no script, no identifier stored on your device, and none of the techniques that build a “fingerprint” from your fonts, graphics hardware or installed software. Requests are grouped into a visit using the address and browser they arrived with, for one day at a time.
These records are deleted after thirty days. Aggregate counts of visits and downloads may be kept longer; the visitor-level detail is not.
The application
IPTV Smarters Pro is a media player that runs on your own device. The playlists, server details, credentials and preferences you enter are stored on that device so the application can use them. They are not sent to us, and this website has no access to them.
- The application does not send usage data or analytics to us.
- The application does not send crash reports to us.
- We hold no account, username or password for you.
When you play something, your device connects directly to the source you configured. That connection is between your device and whoever provides that source. We are not part of it and we receive nothing from it.
Removing the application from your device removes the details it stored there. There is nothing held by us to delete, because nothing was sent to us in the first place.
Who publishes this
